For self-coached athletes

A coaching tool for athletes without a coach.

You’ve outgrown the boilerplate programs. Stratum gives you adaptive programming that calibrates to your actual training — built for powerlifting, strength and conditioning, or hypertrophy work, with the structure of a coached approach and the flexibility for self-driven athletes.

The pitch

You’ve outgrown the boilerplate.

You started with a free program. It worked for a while. Then you outgrew it, found another program, ran that. Maybe two cycles in, you started modifying it. Adjusting top sets when you felt great. Pulling intensity when you didn’t. Skipping volume that felt unnecessary, adding volume on lifts you wanted to bring up.

You’re not following the program anymore. You’re coaching yourself, badly, with a program as a starting point.

Stratum is the tool for that work. Programming that calibrates to your readiness. Volume tracking that knows when you’re under-recovering. Block structure that actually deloads when you need it and peaks when you’re competing.

Modalities

Built for what you train.

Three training modalities, each with sport-specific defaults, volume landmarks, and programming structure.

Powerlifting

  • Block periodization tuned for SBD
  • Attempt calculator and meet prep mode
  • Per-lift e1RM trajectory
  • Volume landmarks for powerlifting recovery

Strength and Conditioning

  • Sport-specific block structures
  • Conditioning interval programming with strength work
  • ATL/CTL/TSB fitness trajectory
  • Mixed-modality programming in one block

Hypertrophy

  • Per-muscle volume tracking
  • Higher landmarks for muscle growth
  • Auto-progression on accessory work
  • Body part split or full body templates

What you get

What Stratum gives you.

Programming that calibrates to you

Stratum builds your block around your actual sport, equipment, and training history. Recommendations factor in your readiness check-ins, your session performance, and your reported fatigue. Overreaching detection flags early signs of under-recovery — volume approaching MRV, declining completion rates, HRV deviation — before performance drops. The longer you train on the platform, the more accurate the calibration gets.

Real periodization structure

Block-based programming for powerlifting (8/4/2/1 accumulation/intensification/peak/deload). Season-based periodization for sport athletes. Mesocycle structures for hypertrophy work. Built around how each modality actually progresses, not generic linear progression.

Data you can actually use

E1RM trajectory per lift, volume tracking per muscle, fatigue management across the block. A daily readiness log captures 17 fields — energy, soreness, sleep quality, stress, appetite, joint pain location and severity, HRV, resting heart rate, and more — in under 60 seconds, then shows you the connection between how you feel and how you perform. Numbers that mean something, not vanity metrics. Made a mistake logging a set? Edit your loads, reps, or RPE within 48 hours of the session.

How it works.

01

Email, password, basic profile. Two minutes.

02

Tell Stratum what you train

Modality selection: powerlifting, strength and conditioning, hypertrophy. Equipment access, current PRs or training history, meet history or sport season timing if relevant. Three minutes.

03

Train

Stratum generates your first block tuned for your modality. Calibration begins immediately and gets sharper as your data accumulates over the first few weeks. Your programming adapts as the system learns your patterns.
